Calling all Senior PR Account Managers - Associate Director Wanted (P/T)

Are you currently either working in a PR agency and dream of getting more than just a monthly pay cheque, or are freelance and want to be part of something bigger?

Niche Works PR & Marketing Ltd is a long-standing, boutique PR agency based in Leith, Edinburgh. We handle mostly consumer/lifestyle clients with some corporate and B2B on behalf of our very loyal clients. Services include: media relations, third party collaboration for promotion, events-management and marketing, marketing strategy, email marketing, blogging, business development and more.

We’re looking for a like-minded, highly experienced individual with all the relevant skills to help build and manage the business and share in its success at the same time. Profit share and/or buy-in options are available, after a trial period.

Vital requirements include;

  • An experienced, senior PR with hands-on media and PR skills who is used to managing clients and campaigns on a day-to-day basis (ideally senior account manager level, or above)
  • A creative copy writer who can work at speed and across various platforms/styles (journalist experience a bonus, agency experience a must)
  • Up-to-date social media skills across a range of relevant platforms
  • Proven business development skills – creative proposal writing, pitching and ideally a contacts book!
  • The desire to work as part of a small, but growing team, and help build Niche Works into a larger agency over the longer term
  • Available a minimum of three days per week, one of which must include a Friday.

This position is not for those interested in setting up on their own, it’s for someone who believes that two heads are better than one and is happy to work as a team to grow something exciting over the longer term.

Part-time Senior Account Manager - PR & Marketing

An experienced Senior PR account manager is required for a part-time role (2-3 days per week).

Activities including media, PR with some events planning and management, marketing and third party collaboration. An ability to work on a variety of diverse industry and client subjects including, fashion, hospitality, medical association, property, psychology, food and drink and more!

Essential skills include strong and experienced copy writing for press releases, feature/editorial, blogs, newsletters, statements etc, covering an array of (well researched) topics. Pro-active and re-active experience is required - crisis media experience is also beneficial. This position is open to both employed and self-employed candidates.
