First Psychology Scotland launches new wellbeing centre in Perth

A free mindfulness event will mark the launch of the new centre

Scotland’s leading provider of psychological services, First Psychology Scotland, has launched a new centre on York Place in Perth, covering the Perthshire and Stirling areas.

To mark the launch of the new centre, First Psychology Scotland will be hosting a free mindfulness event on Monday 15th May from 5.30pm – 6.30pm in the Subud Centre. Attendees will learn what mindfulness is and how it’s used, as well as how to practice mindfulness and use the technique to help relieve stress, anxiety and depression.

First Psychology Scotland has been offering psychological services since 2006 and already operates centres in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Dundee, Aberdeen, Inverness and the Borders. Services include counselling, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), psychotherapy, couples and relationship counselling, coaching, therapy for children and more.

Professor Ewan Gillon, chartered psychologist and clinical director of First Psychology Scotland, says: “We’re delighted to be able to expand and offer services in the Perthshire area after receiving many enquiries from clients in our Dundee and Edinburgh centres over recent months.

“Our focus for this centre will be to offer bespoke psychological services to local clients, businesses, school children and families.

“Our centre is conveniently located for anyone working or living in Perth, but also for clients based in Stirling, St Andrews, Pitlochry, Kirkcaldy, Dunfermline and Crieff.”
